We have weekly debates on a variety of topics, these have four speakers who each make a seven minute speach, followed by a question and answer session, after which a three minute summary speach is made by voth sides, and the audience votes on the motion.

We also offer our members the opportunity to travel to external inter-varsity(IV) competitions held all over the UK throughout the academic year. They are an excellent opportunity to practice your debating skills, meet some interesting people and discover what socials are like at other universities!
